Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is still months away from its official launch. However, PlayStation Game Size has revealed that the game will weigh around 71.5GB for PlayStation 5 devs. It seems that this game will definitely be huge, since this number is even before the day one patch.
It is worth noting that file sizes for games will vary between platforms. Since the website only lists the space needed for the PS5 version, it remains unclear how much space it will take for other consoles. Regardless, the PS5 file size for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin has definitely raised a lot of eyebrows.
The Pre-Load date is March 13th, while the Launch of the 3-day Early Access is going to be on March 15th. It must be noted, however, that the word “launch” is used loosely here. After all, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will have an early access period as a digital pre-order bonus.
Pre-ordering the game gets fans in earlier on March 15th, while the rest of the gaming community will be able to access it on March 18th. This will be the case for all platforms, namely PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Fans who put their money down early will also be getting Lustrous Shield, Rebellion, and Braveheart weapons, too. There will also be three bonus missions that will not be available separately from the digital pre-orders. Going digital is definitely the only way to play them.
Fans can also buy the physical version of the game. However, it has come to light that the discs will be missing some content.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is one of Square Enix’s biggest titles for 2022. They have certainly taken the franchise to a bold new direction. It will no longer have the traditional turn-based battle system featured in the original. Instead, it will take a more action-oriented approach.
